Evans Vettori named East Midlands Architect of Year with two projects

Regional RIBA Awards have been handed to six buildings in the East Midlands, including a 'mellow' garden office and the 'dramatic' overhaul of a 1960s student block. Matlock-based Evans Vettori won the region's Architect of the Year Award, having received accolades for two projects - a family home full of'delightful surprises' overlooking Matlock and a church hall, which the judges said had 'managed to make a difficult site look easy, and a utilitarian building appear elegant'.
