ACA backs paring down ARB

The Association of Consultant Architects (ACA) has urged the government to slim down the role of the ARB, stripping back its regulatory functions to 'the minimum necessary' and slashing the annual fee as a result. Mirroring the RIBA's revised stance two weeks' ago, the ACA said it wanted the board's other roles in covering the code of conduct, disciplinary matters and validating courses 'contracted' out.
