To meet the environmental requirements for Center Parcs' new Woburn Forest Village, 7,500m~2 of Knauf Insulation's Polyfoam ECO Roofboard Extra in 205mm and 220mm and Slimline Membrane was specified. Polyfoam ECO extruded polystyrene insulation has a thermal conductivity value of 0.033 W/mK. A new roof terrace, insulated with the Kingspan OPTIM-R Balcony & Terrace System has been installed at an idyllic former farmhouse on the Cornish coast in Falmouth. The OPTIM-R system uses vacuum technology to achieve an aged thermal conductivity value of 0.007 W/mK. The Kingspan KoolDuct System has been used throughout the £80 million redevelopment of the National Theatre on London's South Bank. KoolDuct is the only CFC/HCFC-free premium performance pre-insulated ductwork to be listed as a Class 1 Air Duct, to Standard for Safety UL 181. Kingspan Insulation has launched the ninth edition of its Quick Guide, aimed at builders, installers, specifiers and end users looking to ichieve the highest levels of thermal performance, using the thinnest possible insulation in pitched roofs, floors or walls -downloable from the Kingspan website.
