Foster + Partners has seen off Zaha Hadid Architects, Make and Stiff +Trevillion to land the multimillion pound project to overhaul the Grade Ⅱ-listed Whiteleys shopping centre in Bayswater, west London.The building, formerly a prestigious department store, was converted into a mall in the late 1980s.
