PagePark's Glasgow science centre scoops Doolan Prize

PagePark's Saunders Science and Technology Centre in Glasgow was chosen as the 'clear winner' of the £25,000 RIAS Andrew Doolan Prize by this year's judging panel, which included RIAS past presidents lain Dickson, David Dunbar and Eleanor McAllister. It is the second year running that Reiach and Hall-which has only won the Doolan Prize once in its 15-year history -has missed out on the prize, despite having projects on the Stirling Prize shortlist in both years. In 2015the Edinburgh-based practice's Maggie's Centre in Lanarkshire lost out to Sutherland Hussey Harris's West Burn Lane housing scheme.
