An engine room for innovation

Hoskins Architects' redevelopment of a disused industrial warehouse on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal was commissioned to bring together various departments of the National Theatre o f Scotland's headquarters previously scattered across several buildings. The new facility, Rockvilla, provides three rehearsal rooms o f varying scales, a learning and community suite, wardrobe department, production workshop and technical store, plus office space and social areas.
