Overseas growth has been a highlight for Broadway Malyan in 2018, with milestones including the completion of its first building in North America, the Miami Cruise Terminal. Architectural fees from its overseas offices rose from £13.7 million to £17.2 million. Tor a long time we've had a crude 50/50 split between UK and overseas work,' says interim managing director Ian Apsley, 'but this year we've started to see a better rate of growth outside the UK, and over the next few years we'll see that continue. 'We've had a very good year in the Asia Pacific region, where we have three studios that are all doing very well.'
