Three surveynchapters cover the ‘production of medievalnmonuments in England’ (with discussion of thenmain stone varieties found in Lincolnshire),n‘losses and dating’ and an ‘overview of militaryneffigies in Lincolnshire’. The latter divides thencounty corpus into four groups based on thenmain periods of development of armour.
