摘要

The International Conference on Hydroinformatics is a biennial conference organized under the auspices of the International Association for Hydro-Environmental Engineering and Research (IAHR) and the International Water Association (IWA). The conference started in 1994 G. C. hosted in Delft, The Netherlands. It is no wonder that it started in Delft as the very idea of Hydroinformatics is the brain child of Prof. Michael B. Abbott who used to work at the International Institute for Infrastructure, Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering - IHE, Delft, The Netherlands (ABBOTT 1999).
