Toyota Tsusho a leading global supplier of high-tech functional materials for clothing and footwear has recently launched a new generation of its Arnitel VT membranes, (the latest addition to its Gelanots product range) at the Outdoor Retailer show, which took place in Salt Lake City, US, in early August. Worldwide, established brands in outdoor clothing have been looking for ways to make garments that offer the right performance and comfort whilst ensuring that the materials and processes used have the lowest possible impact on the environment. The focus for the sector has been on avoiding the use of PFCs.
