Italy-based Durst reports e-com-merce web-to-print company Spoonflower recently invested in two additional Durst Alpha 330 Series 5 with pigment printing machines. The fifth-generation printers feature newly-developed software as well as improvements in efficiency and material handling and diversity. Spoonflower's platform allows individuals to design, print and sell their own custom-designed fabrics, wallpaper and home decor products. The company's marketplace offers more than 1 million designs that can be printed sustainably and on demand with no minimums required. One Alpha 330 will be installed in North Carolina, and the second in Berlin.
