Mr. Ramgopal Harikishandas Mehra Awarded the Prestigious Gold Medal by the Society of Dyers and Colourists (Incorporated by Royal Charter) of U.K.

This year the Society's Annual Award Ceremony was held at Cartwright Hall Bradford, U.K. on Friday 22 April 2005. Fortunately, it was a very warm and sunny day, ideal for enjoying the hall's picturesque park setting, as many guests did. Mr. Peter Diggle, the new president, began by welcoming the assembled audience and the guest speaker Derek McKelvey, formerly head of Dyeing, finishing and printing of retailer Marks and Spencer and an honorary professor at the University of Manchester. Mr. R. H. Mehra in spite of his ill health was present at the function to receive the Gold Medal and the Certificate. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Snehalata Mehra, his son Arun Mehra and nephew Mr. G.K. Anand.
