Vexed Garment Exporters Trawl Newer Markets

Garment exporters this year are shifting their focus from Europe and the US to Russia, Japan and South American countries like Brazil and Argentina. With no orders for summer garments from the troubled US and Euro regions, Tirupur- and Punjab-based exporters are now trying to get orders from new markets. Exporters see a fall of over 30% in orders from the US, Europe and Canada markets. Usually orders start coming from August for summer wear.
