From a humble beginning in 1948 as a trader for textile machinery parts, the Laxmi Group of Industries, based in Ahmedabad, India, has emerged as one of the leading manufacturers of shuttle and shuttleless looms in India today. En-route, the company has undergone several transformations (manufacturing of spinning & blowroom accessories, manufacturing of dobbies, manufacturing of flexible rapier, automatic and semiautomatic shuttle looms and setting up it's own foundry) and has traversed three generations of owner-managers.
