Standard Test Methods Adapted to Better Simulate Fabrics in Use

The objective was to adapt Standardntest methods for determining properties of apparelnfabrics so these properties are a better reflection ofnfabrics when used in end-products, while retainingna controlled environment and thus allowing fabricncomparisons2. Test methods in which propertiesnare compared when fabrics are dry and damp, andor in which they are in multiple-layered assembliesnhave been developed and applied to a range ofnfabrics.
