Even excluding labels - a market so vast it is near-impossible to estimate a size for it - they can be found as components in many types of sports equipment, bags of every conceivable kind, in lingerie, bedding, belting, hook and loop fastenings, footwear, medical and automotive textiles - the list is endless. Jakob Mueller AG, based in Frick, Switzerland and founded in 1887, is the global leader in machinery for the production of every conceivable type of narrow fabric and 2004 was a significant year of expansion for the company, both in terms of technology and global presence.
