Drapilux Bioactiv offers the hospital and care sectors a new generation of antimicrobial Trevira CS fabrics and is also responding to demand ffrom users of flame retardant home textiles for a higher standard of hygiene. Using Trevira CS Bioactive reduces the formation of bacteria in textiles, and above all their multiplication. The antimicrobial components are firmly integrated into the fibre. This means they are permanent and - unlike additional treatments, with chemical substances for instance - they do not cause skin irritations.
