The smart wearables industry hasn't grown at quite the rapid rate predicted a decade ago, but analysts are suggesting the market will reach new heights with the introduction of mainstream smart textiles in the coming years. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker, the overall wearables market, including clothing, is expected to undergo a period of strong growth after a slow year.
