Data talks in an ecosystem

The lifecycle of equipment is complex. It often involves multiple groups of people, dispersed across the world, who are involved in making, owning or servicing equipment. In no industry is this truer than the textile and apparel value chain. However, data sharing between these groups of people, so that processes are run efficiently, is difficult. And, the broader ecosystem of enterprises that could also benefit from data sharing - from machinery providers to fabric manufacturers, finishers, apparel constructionists and design focused retailers -also suffers from the same problems, only on a larger scale.
