Texture and colour fabric scanner

Munich Fabric Start Exhibitions has launched a process to digitise fabrics, titled FABRIC.iD. The process expands upon Munich Fabric Start’s range of products towards digital, the company says. The FABRIC.iD process utilises a new texture scanner (the xTex) and colour scanner (can:scan) to produce digital twins of fabrics that are realistic. The xTex texture scanner and the can:scan colour scanner were created by software companies Vizoo and Caddon Printing & Imaging.
