Fibre orientation in products of spinning is a term applied to a combination of factors like parallelization of fibres, the degree of fibre straightening and the presence of curved fibre ends. In fact, these factors are mainly responsible for the quality of yarn. Fibre configuration in sliver plays an important role in determining yarn characteristics.
