Jayavarthanavelu is on RBI Central Board

Dr. D. Jayavarthanavelu of Lakshmi Machine Works received one more honour. The Government of India has nominated him as a member of the reconstituted Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Dr. D. Jayavarthanavelu is the Chairman and Managing Director of Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) Ltd., Coimbatore, a renowned manufacturer of textile machinery in the country with a group turnover of about Rs. 1,500 crores. LMW is one of the three manufacturers in the world, making the entire range of textile spinning machinery.
