Oerlikon Neumag sold first synthetic staple fiber plant to FENC, Taiwan

In May 2010, Oerlikon Neumag successfully signed a deal with FENC, well known as one of the largest fiber producers in Taiwan, to deliver a production line with a capacity of 300 tons per day. Here Oerlikon Neumag will deliver the fiber line equipment and in addition will carry out the supervision of erection and commissioning. This plant with the highest installed capacity in a single line worldwide will produce specialty staple fibers from polyester which will be used in non-woven applications. The commercial production start will be in the middle of 2011.
