Uster Technologies acquires Jossi Systems to strengthen yarn quality management

Uster Technologies Ltd., the leading high technology systems manufacturer of products for quality measurement and certification for the textile industry, has announced acquisition of Jossi Systems AG to complement and strengthen its position as the world leader in yarn quality management. Jossi Systems, based in Waengi, Switzerland, is a market leading producer of systems for cleaning cotton and removing contaminating material from cotton at the first stages of production in the spinning mill. Uster Technologies has acquired 100 per cent of the shares of Jossi Systems AG, plus all intellectual property relating to the company, from Jossi Holding AG. All the current employees of Jossi Systems will be retained. The transaction was finalized for an undisclosed amount.
