China's home textiles market is going through a period of impressive growth. In addition to its massive domestic production, the country is a heavyweight buyer of foreign-made products, inporting US$2 billion worth of home textiles in 2002. Market growth is being driven by the flourishing economy, increasing consumer wealth, and commercial development in preparation for the Olympic Games in 2008 and the World Expo in 2010.
