DYEING OF COTTON YARN WITH NATURAL DYE

摘要

The optimum dyeing conditions of Mirica nagi dye on cotton are summarized in Table 9. All mordants were suitable for application on cotton, 10% alum; 4% copper sulphate and ferrous sulphate had given different shades of beige and yellow colours. Pre-mordanting was found to be good for all the mordants.
