International Seminar on 'Global Growth Potential for Texturising'

The Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit organized International Seminar on "Global Growth Potential for Texturising" held on 26 & 27th July 2003 at Treat Resort, Umerkui, Sayli Road, Silvassa (UT of D & NH). Mr C. Bose, Convenor, welcomed Chief Guest, Mr Basanagouda R. Patil, Minister of State for Textiles, Govt. of India. Mr Vijay Kumar, Collector, UT of D & NH, Guest of Honour, Mr Mohan Delkar, Member of Parliament (L.S.), UT of D & NH and also briefed participants about the seminar. Mr D.R. Mehta mentioned in his presidential address that with the development in Textured yarn, over the years, denier per filament has reduced, Microfibre denier is a trend of today. Such a superfine denier has unique advantages of better feel. The industry has to make continuous innovations in this product. Roto Textured yarn is one of the commercially available yarn. It is offering stiff competition in the market.
