Ed: The 20th IAPMA Congress was held from March 26-30, 2009 through the invitation of Creative Paper Tasmania located in Burnie, a town on the northwest coast of Tasmania. Michelle Wubbolts, Manager of Creative Paper, coordinated the event which included a 4-day post congress tour. The dates of the congress were chosen to coincide with Tasmania s premier arts festival, Ten Days on the Island.rnAmanda Degener was a gifted and generous tutor for TAFTA 's April FORUM in Orange for 2009. She offered to write about the 2009 IAPMA Congress for this magazine and it was agreed that only a portion of the total experience could be covered in the space available, and that John Wolseley s contribution to the event would become the focus.
