Rieter expands Changzhou plant

The Switzerland-based industrial group, Rieter which is a leading supplier of short staple yarn production system, is entering a new phase in its more than 80 years of presence in China. It is building a second plant in Changzhou in Jiangsu province where it has been operating since 1998 employing 600 people. Rieter is very enthusiastic about the prospects of China's textile industry and this initiative is seen as the company's commitment to play a supportive role in China's textile industry and contribute towards its continued progress.
