Raffaella Carabelli is new ACIMIT president

ACIMIT, the association of Italian textile machinery manufacturers, has elected Raffaella Carabelli, its vice president since 2009, as president for the year 2013-14. She succeeds S a n d r o Salmoiraghi who has been ACIMIT president for the past four years. Ms Carabelli who is the commercial director of her family-owned enterprise Fadis that manufactures yarn processing machinery has been a member of ACIMIT's board of directors since 2005. She is also ACIMIT's representative at the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers (ITMF), and is a member of the Italian delegation at the Committee of European Textile Machinery Associations (CEMATEX).
