Dalsa has added two platforms to its Sapera Essential vision software, which bundles image acquisition and control with image-processing tools. Sapera Nitrous lets the functions in Essential leverage the acceleration provided by graphics processing units and multicore processors. Sapera Architect Plus provides an environment for prototyping and modeling imaging tools to speed algorithm development.
