The PocketPico SafeRanging picoammeter from Ix Innovations is a low-current ammeter that measures DC current from 20 pA to 2 mA. According to the manufacturer, the handheld PocketPico not only reads at a rate of 15,000 samples/s, but also eliminates the harmful voltage spikes associated with range switching.Useful both in and out of the lab, the PocketPico's small size, USB interface, and Windows-based drivers allow on-the-go power demonstrations. You can use the meter, which is just 2.7x1.4x3.7 in. and weighs only 8 oz., for electronics testing, materials characterization, and surface science. It measures 20 pA with a resolution of 100 fA and is calibrated using NIST-traceable instruments to be accurate to within 0.5%.
