This month saw the publication of the BBC Trust review of BBC1, BBC2 and BBC4, with I and fellow trustee Diane Coyle heading to Television Centre to discuss our findings with staff at BBC Vision. We heard understandable frustration at some of the rather selective press coverage. But, overall, we encountered a very constructive response.rnThe idea of a service licence with its five-yearly review is new and was introduced as part of the charter settlement that created the BBC Trust.
