There is a wonderful promo of the BBC comedy, Episodes, where Matt Le Blanc is asked to audition for the role of Matt Le Blanc. Slightly freaked out by this request, he asks the executives at the audition what this series is about. What show would require him to play himself, he wonders? The US executives explain: "It's about an English couple who have a hit series on the BBC, then this American network president convinces them to remake the show over here in the US... and it's about how we totally destroy the show." Matt Le Blanc instantly realises that the first instance of destruction lies with him replacing the classically trained Brit, Richard Griffiths, in the role of the headmaster.
