High-definition, mobile and multi-room TV were amongst the highlights of the recent Mediacast show at Olympia. Peter Brough reports on the developments presented there This year's Mediacast show, formerly known as the Cable & Wireless Show, was held at Olympia in mid-May. I'd not been to the show for a couple of years and was surprised to find how much things have changed. The days when the aisles were packed with hardware - dishes, receivers, decoders and so on - have gone, and many big names such as Pace and Eutelsat were missing. But a number of interesting developments were being demonstrated on stands around the hall.
