FIXED MOBILE CONVERGENCE

摘要

With the Next Generation Networks the distinctions between fixed and mobile networks and services will be increasingly blurred and we shall be moving towards Fixed-Mobile Convergence which will benefit not only telecom subscribers but also the telecom service providers in terms of unified billing, unique identity number and unified services. This article describes the basic concepts, applications and issues relevant in Indian telecom environment about Fixed-Mobile Convergence.
