Convergence is the need of the hour. All the operators want to have a converged network to reduce the Operating Expenditure (OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX). The convergence can be at various levels like network, service, device etc level and can be achieved through NGN architecture. In this article various types of convergence have been discussed and an attempt has been made to explain how the convergence can be achieved through NGN.
