摘要

In a case involving whether law enforcement officials should need a warrant to obtain cell-site information on the location of mobile device users, Verizon Communications, Inc., and tech companies including Google, Inc., Facebook, Inc., and Twitter, Inc., have urged the Supreme Court to apply the Fourth Amendment to recognize that "people reasonably expect that their data will be stored securely and remain private."
