The C-band transition is generally on track, although virtual meetings required by the COVID-19 pandemic have made it difficult to accomplish some tasks as quickly as they otherwise would have been, transition stakeholders said during an April 6 Federal Communications Bar Association webinar."Everything is well on track," said Steve Corda, vice president-technology for SES Americom, Inc., adding that SES and Intelsat S.A. still have "a handful of services" to be transitioned during Phase I, which most, if not all, will be done by the end of May so workers can focus on other activities. "We are ahead of schedule."
