Bureau Sets Uniform Deadlines For CAF II Milestones, Filings

The FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau has established uniform deadlines for all recipients of Connect America Fund (CAF) Phase II funding, placing service milestone deadlines at the end of the calendar year and annual location filing and certification deadlines on March 1. Previously, those deadlines varied among recipients based on the date their support payments started. Those start dates varied because the bureau authorized funding on a rolling basis.
