The findings of investigations into the reflecting and absorbing properties of Optocontrolled plates made of high-resistivity monocrystalline silicium featuring different lifetimes of minority charge carriers and dissimilar levels of bulk resistance over the 8-mm wave band. A study has been made of the- IR illumination effect upon the properties of the waveguide system. A variety of electrodynamic diagrams of Optocontrolled antenna arrays are optimized. A ~ 100% maximum efficiency of transforming a slow waveguide mode to the radiating one is attained. The spatial and polarization characteristics of scattered fields have been explored.
