Influence of Pulse Response Duration of Echo Channel upon Echo Canceller Behavior in the Duplex Operation

摘要

The behavior of an echo canceller based on the normalized method of least squares and Gagel's algorithm in the duplex operation is investigated. Deviation of the adaptive filter coefficients from their optimal values depending on pulse response of an echo channel is shown. A new robust algorithm which improves echo canceller operation in the duplex mode is offered.
