摘要

In the theory of class F(H) transistor microwave amplifiers, the problem of the mechanism of an effect that results in an increase in amplifier efficiency up to 80-90/100 still remains open. The papers [1, 2] deal with the study of the dependence of amplifier efficiency on the collector current and/or voltage profiles. However, there was no attempt to find current and voltage profiles that ensure maximum efficiency. It was shown in [1] that for certain phase relations between collector current harmonics the parametric effects related to nonlinear capacitance of the collector transition allow one to increase the amplifier efficiency by a factor of 1.1-1.2.
