Peers Support 1 Mobile Device Per 2.96 End Users

Seventy communication technology pros - who say they support a combined 153,276 mobile devices - replied to our 18-question survey. We asked them how many cellular devices they support and how many people are employed by their enterprises. The ratio we calculated from those data points isn't surprising: Telecom managers now support one cell phone or other mobile device for every 2.96 employees. Compare that to the results of last year's survey, which found respondents support one cellular device for every 4.23 employees. The year before that, the ratio was one mobile device per 4.30 end users.
