Surprise! Price isn't often considered a top criterion in choosing a PBX. In fact, respondents to Voice Report's 2008 National PBX Survey ranked it seventh in our list of 13 criteria that might influence their choice of PBX, with an average score of 7.8 out of 10. Only 30% of respondents gave price a "10" rating, equivalent in our survey to saying it was "critical."
