Continued strength in IT spending across Asia has heightened demand for exhibition space at CommunicAsia2005, the four-day annual IT and communications exhibition held in Singapore. According to IDC, infotech spending in Asia Pacific is expected to expand 10% in 2005 and reach $97 billion. "As digital convergence impacts three massive industries - the computer and software business, the Asian dominated consumer electronics sector and the communications industry - we are seeing tech icons and small start-ups alike forging more partnerships as they strive to develop new business models, and innovate new products and services that merge various technologies," said Stephen Tan, chief executive of Singapore Exhibition Services (SES), the show organizer.
