Commission Faces 13 Appeals of Universa Service Revamp

The universal service overhaul is the subject of 13 court appeals, the FCC said. Challenges nhave been filed by Core, AT&T, NASUCA, NTCA and regulators in Pennsylvania and nVermont. They're joined by appeals by C Spire in the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Ohio nregulators in the 6th Circuit, Choctaw Telephone in the 8th Circuit, Direct Communications nCedar Valley in the 10th Circuit, and Halo Wireless and Transcom Enhanced Services in the nD.C. Circuit, the FCC said.
