Preface The Future of Medicine is Now

摘要

Medical discoveries across many disciplines including - but not limited to - oncology, cardiovascular disease, disorders of the central nervous system, and many rare and typically-neglected diseases have all seen a sharp up-tick in therapeutic approaches and innovations in recent years. Said another way, we will learn more about life-altering, life-shortening pathologies in the next few years than we have learned in the last 50 years especially as more and more acute diseases result in the pathological progression of long-term, chronic diseases.
