A Tribute to Dr. Anthony Weiner

I am saddened to report that my friend and colleague, Dr. Anthony Weiner, long-time distinguished Editorial Board member and Associate Editor ofTechnology in Society passed away June 19,2012. According to Edward Teller, "An optimist is someone who believes the future is uncertain." [1 ]. Tony was an optimist and a self-described futurist. In 1967 he collaborated with Herman Kahn to write "The Year 2000: A Framework for Speculation on the Next Thirty-three Years".
