With a 10.1 megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor and DIGIC II processing, the EOS 400D offers pro-level features at an affordable price. It features the EOS Integrated Cleaning System which shakes dust off the CMOS sensor using ultrasonic vibrations. With a fast enough memory card (it uses Compact Flash, Type I and II), it can easily manage 3 fps. There's also a 2.5-inch LCD to view your photos and a built in flash. The standard kit (with 18-55m lens) is what you see here, but it's also available with an 18-55mm IS (Image Stabilization) lens for Rs 42,995. To make sure that users switching from compacts or prosumer cams don't feel out of place, they've kept the weight down to a very manageable 510 grams too. It's compatible with a wide range of Canon EF mount lenses as well as third party lenses from Tamron and Sigma.
